We refer to both together as “Cartagena Vacation Rentals,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

• Cartagena Collections Corp (USA) operates this website and processes online bookings and payments. It is the data controller for information collected through the site and through our payment processor.
• Cartagena Vacation Rentals SAS (Colombia) fulfills the stay on the ground in Colombia (check-in, guest support, and property operations) and processes guest information for that purpose.

• Booking details — property, check-in and check-out dates, and number of guests
• Payment information — entered directly into our payment processor (Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number.

• Google Maps — to display property locations (loaded on listing pages).
• Authorities or advisors — when required by law, or to our accountants and legal advisors under confidentiality.

Card payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not stored on our servers. We retain only what we need to identify a transaction (such as the amount, date, and last four digits).

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide your stay and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and trusted third-party processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to those who need it.
